Gilded Bridal Take Over: The Stockroom

Gilded Bridal Take Over: The Stockroom

Summer of 2016…when Gilded Bridal had yet to open its doors, and in fact, we weren’t even sure where our doors would be. We needed a place to shoot some of our beautiful dresses so that we could start building our website. Enter The Stockroom in downtown Raleigh, where we had a blast playing dress up with our real-girl models Rayne, Annaleigh, and Joey!

Ivy & Aster‘s Botanical Beauty gown was real-girl model Rayne’s favorite to wear – it twirls and swirls so dreamily! And while we love the floral print, it also comes in the traditional bridal white or ivory. If you’re feeling you’d like a splash of color, but not full-on floral, this dress also comes in blush, baby blue, or a gorgeous silver. The silver version is just stunning!

Secret Garden is a romantic wedding dress from Ivy & Aster for our midsummer’s night dream brides. Ethereal and delicate, with a flowy tulle skirt, key-hole back, and strategically placed floral appliques, Secret Garden is definitely a special gown. Real-girl model Annaleigh is just blowing us away!

Paloma is a gorgeous wedding gown from Elizabeth Dye, accessorized here with an Art Decco-style sash and headpiece from Hushed Commotion. We just adore the layers of blush tulle, but for our traditional brides she comes in ivory too! Paloma harkens to Zeffirelli’s 1968 Juliet for us – but with a happier ending, of course. We would cast real-girl model Joey for the role in a heartbeat!

Tulle two ways. The shimmer on this Twigs & Honey veil just gets us every time. Sweet and sultry, two sides of the veil, and a perfect pairing with Claire Pettibone’s Romantique Gardenia gown. Can you say swoon?

Claire Pettibone’s Romantique wedding dresses showcase unique lace with a sweet bohemian flair. The lace on the back of the Winona gown slays us – with sweet buttons all down the back, and a detachable tulle train, we just can’t say no. Claire’s dresses are so comfortable to wear, so her brides get the bonus of looking incredible without the fuss and muss of a complicated fit.

You know…just three brides hanging out in The Stockroom on their wedding day. Annaliegh in the middle is rocking Elizabeth Dye‘s Helena gown, and Rayne and Joey are wearing Claire Pettibone Romantique gowns. All of these featured gowns are available at Gilded Bridal, and we can’t wait to see you in our little shop to try them on! Stay tuned for next week’s blog post, part two of this shoot, with more gorgeous gowns and featuring The Glassbox!
