We are full-on starstruck by this couple, y’all! Allie and her man Alex got married last Fall looking like actual celebrities and we are SWOONING. She looked fabulous in her Rose + Williams gown that she topped with a funky bridal cape. Allie is such a #GildedBride – modern and cool with a nod to the classic wedding feel. We are so so glad that she found us and let us be part of this beautiful day! Sending love to the bride and groom!

GILDED: How did you and your spouse meet?

ALLIE: Bumble! It was the first date I ever went on with a guy I met through a dating app and had zero expectations, but look at us now!

GILDED: What did you love most about your wedding celebration? What are some of your favorite details or special moments?

ALLIE: It seems cliché to say that our day was perfect but to us, it was. Having all of our family and friends together in one place was something we knew we really needed to take advantage of. It was so special for us to get to see all of our people talking, celebrating, and creating new relationships with one another.

I’m also thankful we opted to have a private meal together in a beautifully decorated room at Highgrove Estate while our guests were enjoying cocktail hour. This gave us 15 minutes to bask in all of the just-married feelings with just the two of us. It’ll be hard to top that date night 😉

GILDED: Did you have a honeymoon? Where did you go and what was your favorite part?

ALLIE: We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. We took a helicopter from the airport to the resort, so we were able to take in the beauty of the island all at once. But honestly, my favorite part of the trip was unplugging from our day-to-day responsibilities and spending time talking about our future as husband and wife. We made goals, talked about our dreams, and slept…a lot. Such a great way to kick off a new season of life!

GILDED: What advice do you have for brides looking for their wedding dress?

ALLIE: Keep an open mind and don’t be afraid to be different! I went to several bridal boutiques before I landed at Gilded. I tried on 30+ traditional wedding dresses and didn’t feel a connection with any of them. I knew deep down I wasn’t a traditional bride but felt forced to fit the mold at other boutiques. The second I walked into Gilded I felt at home and fell in love with almost every dress I tried on but the Rose + Williams by Tara La Tour stole my heart!
