Cameron & Eric: A Gilded Bride Story

Cameron & Eric: A Gilded Bride Story

Put on your dancing shoes – preferably some sparkly pink sneakers! Cameron and Eric threw the party of the year and we’ve got the pics to prove it! This gorgeous couple got married with their favorite people (and college mascot – repping the University of South Carolina!) by their side. Cameron’s infectious smile and STUNNING Daalarna Couture gown lit up the night! We are so happy to call Cameron part of our #GildedBride family. Congrats to the bride and groom – wishing you another relaxing, sunny vacay soon!

GILDED: How did you and your spouse meet?

CAMERON: My sister set us up 😉 all of us went to the same college and although Eric and I knew each other throughout our college years it wasn’t until Perry convinced us to go out that things began!

GILDED: What did you love most about your wedding celebration? What are some of your favorite details or special moments?

CAMERON: Where to even begin! I did not love planning my wedding to be honest, but our wedding day was ABSOLUTELY magical. The feeling of having everyone you love most in one place to celebrate with you and your husband-to-be is the best feeling in the entire world.

Eric and I played a ‘last song’ that we danced to while everyone was gathering outside for the exit and that was probably the most special moment for me. We got to reflect on the day and take in everything one more time.

GILDED: Did you have a honeymoon? Where did you go and what was your favorite part?

CAMERON: Yes! Saint Lucia. I am a water & sun girl – so laying in the sun with a book is my happy place. I could have stayed another month.

GILDED: What advice do you have for brides looking for their wedding dress?

CAMERON: Go with your gut and don’t expect the ‘this is the one’ tears are going to fly moment.

I was torn between two very different dresses, and in my heart I knew which one I wanted to marry Eric in. But my sassy side wanted to be different and trendy even though I knew I would regret not picking the one I knew was right. after having a minor breakdown and come to Jesus (and talking it out with my amazing sales woman and future wedding planner, Lauren!) we went with the one I knew was right – and it was PERFECT.
