How would you describe the vibe of your wedding?
Coastal, neutral with a touch of whimsical. Lots of neutral tones, Spanish moss, brass candlesticks & disco balls! My decorator described it as walking into mermaid’s cove where nature has started to grow with everything she’s collected 🪩🌾🐚
Were there any traditions you bucked for your wedding? What did you do instead and how did it go?
Our first look wasn’t when I was walking down the aisle. I think it’s definitely become more common now but still against tradition, instead we did a first look & private vows before our ceremony. It was absolutely wonderful! It was so much more intimate & special sharing that moment between just the two of us & delivering the vows we wrote to each other.
What advice do you have for brides looking for their wedding dress?
Trust your instincts!! Take others opinions as a grain of salt in the end you’re the one wearing your wedding dress, it should be something you love & feel like a princess in! Every girl should think that they have the prettiest dress ever & if you don’t feel that way then it ain’t the one!
What made you fall in love with your dress?
The detailing of the boho lace & subtle sparkle, & the “v” shaped low back & the tiered skirt made me fall in love with my dress! It was all so flattering & just different than anything I’d ever seen!
What advice do you have for brides currently planning their wedding?
Splurge on your photographer & videographer! You won’t remember the food (might not even have time to eat your food) but you will look back on your photos for years to come! Also the personalities of your photographers & videographers will make or break your comfort & vibe through out the day! Ours were fantastic 😉
